AHA National Homebrewer Competition

Registration: January 28th, 2025 – February 19th, 2025 (Open)

The National Homebrew Competition (NHC) has become the largest homebrew competition in the world. The goal is simple: to celebrate the spirit of homebrewers. The competition gives homebrewers a chance to receive invaluable feedback on their entries and also recognizes the most outstanding, world-class homebrewed beer, mead and cider.

Charlie Orr Memorial Chicago Cup Challenge

Entry Deadline: 04/25/2025

33rd Annual Charlie Orr Memorial Chicago Cup Challenge home brewing competition, which is the longest continuously running home brewing competition in the greater Chicago area. This competition will take place on Saturday May 4, 2024 at Soundgrowler Brewing, in Tinley Park, IL. and is sanctioned by the American Homebrewers Association and BJCP. It features the Chicago Cup, which is awarded to the Homebrew Club whose members collectively accumulate the most points. Medals and prizes will be awarded to the winners of each flight, including separate Best of Show Judging for beers and non-beers.
